Saguaro vs Marcos de Niza (Highlights 9-29-16)

The #13 nationally ranked Saguaro Sabercats proved their lofty ranking with a dominating 50-21 victory over the Marcos de Niza Padres, who entered the game with a 4-1 record and the #4 seed in the latest Division 4 state power rankings. Saguaro running back Stone Matthews, who ran for 291 yards against Marcos de Niza in last year’s state championship game, had another huge game against the Padres. The senior ran for over 300 yards and scored 6 touchdowns on the ground. The Cat defense kept Padres signal caller Nazareth Greer in check, sacking him 6 times and hounding him throughout the game. Marcos wide receiver Marcus Naisant caught 6 balls and scored on a nice fourth down catch in the end zone for a touchdown with under a minute to play in the first half. Saguaro moves to 7-0 on the season.
