STEM Vision Video
The relationship between STEM and Cox isn’t new, but our resolve to take it to the next level is. With the STEM initiative we plan to create a culture of learning and achievement by utlilizing multi-media video and technology platforms that will motivate and educate students and parents throughout our great state of Arizona. It’s about establishing Arizona as a leader in classroom technology and spreading the word that STEM equals a strong economy and prepares our youth for the 21st Century workforce. We'll showcase how STEM is cool and groom youth reporters to inspire their peers with entertaining stories of what’s happening now in our schools, in the business arena and at STEM events across the state. As a leader in technology Cox Communications will provide these multi-media platforms through Cox Channels 7 & 1007, Cox Digital On DEMAND channels, cox7.com, and cox7 mobile apps. We plan to collaborate and engage with STEM leaders from organizations such as Science Foundation Arizona, Arizona Technology Council, and have already established a strong partnership with Arizona SciTech Festival. We will partner with schools at every level from Arizona Universities and Community Colleges to High Schools & Middle Schools and early STEM educators in Elementary Schools. STEM industries are also important partners for the initiative and we will work with industry partners in fields such as, solar energy, bio-sciences, mining, computer technology, aerospace, software-development and a host of other forward-thinking companies and institutions. Arizona’s future is now….join the STEM Initiative
