The Desert Ridge Jaguars, led by head coach Jeremy Hathcock and offensive lineman DJ Davidson, see if they have what it takes to defeat the Chandler Wolves, ranked #12 in the pre-season rankings nationally by MaxPreps. Chandler boasts what many consider to be the most talented team in the state with college prospects Mason Moran, N'Keal Harry, and Chase Lucas, among others.

Desert Edge averages 6'4" and 280 pounds on the offensive line including 6'7", 315 pound Brock Corbin, while Paradise Valley features the passing combo of quarterback Daniel Bridge-Gadd and wide receiver Jacob Brown who hooked up for over 1,100 yards and 19 touchdowns last season.
