Dancing is one of the most important things in a Quinceanera. Dressing up and showing family and friends what you’ve learned is what it is all about. Here we have a Quince show us what a perfect Quince dance looks like and what you can expect for yours. The Waltz is the traditional dance at a Quincenera.

The Waltz has been a traditional dance in Quinceaneras for as long as we can tell. The confidence and elegance the Waltz portrays is exactly what family and friends expect of a young Quince.

Gadzooks

Posted on: March 20th, 2014 by xmlrpc

When the owner was growing up, he loved enchiladas. When he got a little older, he became “unsatisfied with eating enchiladas that were the same color as construction cones and had the texture of a hot dog bun that had been dunked in water by a professional food eater.” From there, he made his own specialty enchilada and soup restaurant. The own also explains why his restaurant is named Gadzooks, a world meaning an exclamation of surprise. “The word came from my roommate who would yell Gadzooks when he opened the refrigerator and saw his leftovers had been raided.”

Child Author

Posted on: March 14th, 2014 by xmlrpc

A young Arizona author writes a story titled “The Girl with the Blue Hair.” She started writing this book when she found herself with nothing to do at recess. She said one day she found herself outside with a pencil and paper and promised herself she wouldn’t only write a story, but that she would finish it. Everything she writes comes from a dream or a past experience. She really likes writing because she feels as if she’s putting a puzzle together. It’s a great story that she said she couldn’t have written without the support of her Mom and Dad.
