Kevin Ray
Kevin begins his 10th year with Cox7-AZ Sports as the play by play voice of their High School Sports package. Kevin has been a part of the Phoenix sports landscape for more than 17 years. In that time he’s become one of the longest tenured sports broadcasters in this fast growing marketplace.
The majority of those 17 years he spent with 620 KTAR, one of the country’s top News Talk & Sports stations. During his time at KTAR Kevin held several different positions and titles. Kevin’s accomplishments with KTAR showed his versatility as a broadcaster. He went from Producer to Talk Show Host, Program Director, Sports Director and beyond.
As the Host for the Planet Orange Pregame and Postgame Shows on the Suns Radio Flagship 620-KTAR the last several years he’s become the voice that Phoenix Suns fans can count on to get their night started and the one that delivers the breakdown afterwards. During his time with KTAR he had the opportunity to cover Super Bowls, NBA Playoffs, National Championships in College Football & numerous other sporting events. While at KTAR Kevin won several Associated Press Awards for his radio broadcast work!
Along with his commitments to the Suns broadcasts, he has been the Play-by-Play voice of the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury & the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl (9years). Kevin has won several Associated Press Awards for his radio broadcast work! .
Kevin also Co-owns Pure Sports Marketing, which is the official broadcast/marketing partner of the AIA Broadcast Network, bringing live Arizona Prep Sports to the Phoenix metro area via The Fan AM 1060 Sports Radio. Kevin and his wife Marci reside in Glendale with their children Devon,Zachary & Alexandra
Seth Dhaenens
Seth played at Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix, graduating in 2002. He was an All East Valley and All State Shortstop his senior year.
In 2003, Seth began his college career at ASU. He lettered for the Sun Devils from 2004-2006 - playing six different positions in his career. He played in two College World Series. Seth was awarded with the Dr Jim Brock Mr. Sun Devil award during his ASU tenure.
In 2005 he earned all Pac-10 and all Pac-10 Academic Honors. Seth signed with the Tampa Bay Rays in June of 2006 and played three years of Professional Baseball.
Amy Hillenbrand
Amy has been a softball color analyst for Cox7 games for five years, including her first while 8 month's pregnant with son Brock!
Playing at the University of Arizona from 1992 - 1995 as Amy Chellevold, she left school as the Wildcats first four time all-Pac 10 selection and a three-time All-American. One of the greatest players in college softball history, her 371 hits and 252 runs were NCAA records at the time. She hit .415 over her four years at U of A, leading the 'Cats to a 232-24 record with 2 NCAA championships and three Pac-10 titles.
She played on the US National teams that won a gold medal in the 1998 World Championships in Japan as well as the United States team that won the Pan American games in 2003 in the Dominican Republic. Amy currently lives in Tucson, taking care of Brock and daughter Lauren, who is 7.
She plays golf when she can and serves on the selection committee of the United States Woman's National softball team and as an athlete representative to the United States Olympic softball team.
