Falcon Robotics at Carl Hayden has been established for over 10 years. It was started for students to have fun with science and technology. Fredi Lajvardi, Lead Mentor, says the program teaches students problem-solving skills that they can use out in the work force. Falcon Robotics have received accolades of awards and they also help to host robotic competitions. As a result, students at Carl Hayden and other high schools have a better appreciation for STEM education.
